i don’t know if malév has direct airlines to singapore.. i think you have to take another plane too

There are not (to my knowledge) any "low cost" or "budget" airlines operating between Europe and Asia. The increase in fuel prices put a stop to any plans and companies like (e.g.) Oasis Airlines who were emerging into this market have gone into liquidation or stopped plans for such routes
Therefore basically only the normal names (BA, Air France, Lufthansa etc) operate these routes for the time being.
I did a quick check on a multi airline site and for a random return date in Jun & Jul it is (including taxes) 952.20 GBP return with BA
Of course the further in advance you book the more chance you have of getting a lower fare, and shop around a bit with flexible dates and sites.
